Culinary Arts Programme

With more than 50 years of experience the Hotel and Tourism Schools of Turismo de Portugal enjoy industry recognition for their sound and hands-on training methodologies. Programme structure and duration

The programme has a 1,5 year duration (full-time), and is divided in 3 semesters, including 3 months internship (between S2 and S3). Students have the opportunity to select top restaurants, hotels and other operators to do their internship.

To hold a secondary education course or legally equivalent or vocacional qualification level 4.

Minimum B2 English level (from the European common standard). These will be assessed through a written test.

The Culinary Arts programme was designed in partnership by Turismo de Portugal and the Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne.

Students who complete a Culinary Arts Programme successfully, obtain the Diploma of Technological Specialization in culinary arts management.

With this training, students are granted credit units (ECTS) recognized under the Bologna process. This credits are recognized by several universities to pursue studies in higher education in related areas
