Programme structure and duration
The Hospitality Operations Management Programme is 1 ½ year long (full-time), divided in 3 school semesters and a 3-month internship. Students have the opportunity to be selected to train at world renowned Hotel Chains and Resorts, both in Portugal and abroad, to do their internship.

Who should apply?
The Hospitality Operations Management Programme (HOM) aims to provide an education and practical training of excellence to all those who want to pursue a career in the Rooms Division Department. Technical rigour and ethical responsibility will be key features of the skills and mindset to acquire during the tenure at a top tier world class school, preparing the students to a successful career in a globalised economy.
The Hospitality Operations Management Programme is a first step to an exciting future career in the Rooms Division Department of Hospitality Industry. Career possibilities include, but are not limited to, Reception and Front Office Manager, Concierge, Housekeeping Manager/Housekeeper, Receptionist, Reservations Operator and Guest Relations.
A high-school (or legal equivalent in Portugal) Diploma, or a Vocational Qualification Level IV (European Qualifications Framework) Course.
A minimum B2 English level (Council of Europe standard), to be assessed through a written test.
The Hospitality Operations Management Programme was designed by Turismo de Portugal in partnership with the Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne (Switzerland).
At the end of the Hospitality Operations Management Programme the student will be given a Diploma of Technological Specialization in Hospitality Operations Management.
With this training students are granted credit units (ECTS) recognized under the Bologna Process. These credits are recognised by several Universities and Higher Education Centres, granting the possibility to pursue a higher education in related areas.
