Escolas do Turismo de Portugal have curricular programs adapted to the needs of the market. These courses are planned to equip students with a solid technical preparation which will grant them a fast placement in the market.

Our schools are leaders in the tourism market, as their mission is to prepare the best professionals and expand the development of the most required skills in this sector.

Our Schools have an 88% graduate employment rate and 90.2% of these graduates are working in the tourism sector. In 2016, our study showed that 86.1% of our graduates were being placed in the labor market in less than 3 months. In addition, more than 81% of the students state that they are performing adequate functions for the training received.

The technological specialisation courses are suitable for young students who are looking for a promising professional future and an alternative to university. They were designed to train highly qualified resources, centered on the current needs of market.


With focus on technological training and a practical approach rooted in learning by doing, these courses benefit from a strong corporate articulation with tourism businesses and companies.
A Diploma of Technological Specialisation offers students exceptional perspectives to their career development paths as specialists or managers.
 

Structure

3 Semesters + 1 Internship (end of Semester 2).
Note: Semester 1 corresponds to a preparatory program for the acquisition of skills to enter the course, aimed at students lacking the introductory competences and can be completed through the equivalence of its curricular units with the student’s previous background.

Certification

The Diploma of Technological Specialisation is awarded to students who successfully complete a Technological Specialisation Course, allowing direct access to a career in the sector.

Further education

With a Technological Specialisation Diploma, students of Escolas do Turismo de Portugal can enrol directly in a Master degree or in a Post-degree in tourism.  To learn more, click the following links:
