Application
The application take place from August 1st to Septembre 8th. To enroll an application fee (non-refundable) has to be paid.
The entire apllication process for the Turismo de Portugal school network will take place on the ONLINE platform, submitting to a maximum of three courses, in descending order of preference.
Eligible candidates:
- Citizens of the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein)
Assessment methods, techniques and instruments
Applicants for English Language Programmes
Global Assessment Exam (GAE) comprises the following assessment stages:
English Exam (advanced level) + Personal Interview
Relative weight for the final grade:
• Global Acess Exam – 50%
• Interview - 50%
Global Assess Exam
The Assess Exam is a multiple-choice test, to be performed online in a specific platform and it will assess the applicant’s knowledge of the English Language, followed by 2 calculation-oriented questions, aiming to determine the logical thought-process
Interview
• The interview for the English Programmes will be totally conducted in English.
• The interview will be carried out online, using a shared document, at a date and time to be agreed between the candidate and the school in which he intends to join. Proof of payment must be sent to the applicant’s School, stating full name and programme, accompanied by a copy of an Identification document
Applicant’s Final Classification
The assessment, classification and sorting order process is calculated by Portal das Escolas, using an applicant’s placement algorithm (initial allocation) taking into account the preferences the applicant stated and the applicable rules: age (if applicable), minimum grades, vacancies, final grade.
Result Publication
The applicant will be informed of the grade in the personal area of Portal, and its eventual placement, in function of the results obtained in the exam and the interview.
Schedule
The application may be submitted up to a maximum of three courses, in descending order of preference.
Enrolment
Applicants considered to become admitted at the School / Course must complete their online enrolment accordingly as well as perform the payment procedures.
Subsequently an acceptance letter will be issued. The payment made during the enrolment is non-refundable.

Enrolment:

Enrolments must be done online at Portal das Escolas, or locally at our schools (only for special cases).
