I joined the Técnico de Cozinha e Pastelaria (Cookery and Pastry Technician)  course in 2009, fuelled by my grandmother's interest in cooking.

After completing the course, I began my professional career in a prestigious restaurant in the Algarve region. In just 8 months and at the age of 19, I became the restaurant's chef. I continued my career there but I felt the need to gain more knowledge, acquire new experiences, and get to know new cultures. So, I decided to emigrate to the UK.

In London, I've worked in places like Kitchen W8, Purnell's Restaurant, Brasserie Chavot, The Typing Room, Koffmann's at The Berkeley Hotel, and most recently, as chef at Volta do Mar restaurant, which was awarded a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide in 2021.

In 2021 I was one of the contestants selected to participate in the Masterchef UK television programme, making it to the final six.

I'm back in Portugal and have taken on a new challenge at Levels restaurant in Carvoeiro, a special place with an innovative concept.
