I'm only 41 years old, and I was born and raised in the neighborhood of Porto. Despite the absence of hotel influences in my family for three generations, I entered the exciting world of hospitality and tourism at the age of 18. Today, I remain the only hotelier in my family.

From an early age at EHTPorto, I formed a strong group of friends. We supported each other with activities and exams, maintaining our commitment to providing services outside of school hours. This effort not only provided us with extra income but also deepened our knowledge of the sector, preparing us to be more physically and psychologically resilient – a key factor that often makes the difference in day-to-day operations.

Upon completing my course at EHTPorto, I embarked on the journey to independence, leaving home to build my career.

My career has taken me to various locations, including Porto, Algarve, Funchal, Lisbon, Porto Santo, back to the Algarve, and back to Lisbon. 

I started as an assistant director of F&B and now hold the position of Regional Operations Manager Portugal at the Pestana Group, overseeing the Pestana Hotels & Resorts, Pestana Collection Hotels, and Pestana CR7 Lifestyle Hotels brands.

With over 20 years of experience in this industry, I am confident that I made the right choice. I am fortunate to work in a field that I truly enjoy and to collaborate with fantastic people.
