Alumni of Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo de Vila Real de Santo António
Born in Vila Real de Santo António, Jossara Martins grew up in an environment where home cooking was a mix of African and Algarvian influences, due to her family origins.
In 2011, she decided to study Culinary Arts at Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo de Vila Real de Santo António.
Her professional adventure in the gastronomy world began in Lisbon at Assinatura restaurant, followed by Il Gallo d`Oro in Funchal, AS Amsterdam, Chapitô, and Vistas. She was the head chef of Companhia das Culturas and Guarita Terrace.
In 2018, she opened her first restaurant Jossy's the American Burger, and in 2022, 3 Marias. She is currently the head chef of Muxama.
