I attended the Técnico de Restaurante e Bar (Restaurant Bar Technician) course at Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo de Portimão (EHTPortimão) between 1999 and 2002.

Upon completion of my training, I worked as a waiter and bartender at a local restaurant. Due to my exemplary performance as a student during my training, I was invited to become an assistant trainer at EHT Portimão in 2003. In 2005, I assumed the role of trainer in the restaurant and bar sector, having previously taught at EHT Portimão until 2019.

Throughout my career I've also been a trainer at Ministry of Education schools, I was in charge of a catering company, Assistant Director of F&B at the Tivoli Lagos Hotel and I'm currently the exclusive Director of F&B at the Cascade Wellness Resort Hotel in Lagos.

My experience at EHT Portimão was important as it gave me the foundations to understand the hotel market. Without this knowledge, entering the labour market would have been more difficult, as would career progression.

EHT Portimão is undoubtedly a school where the structure is highly professional and focused and provides the best for each student to reach the heights they desire.
