In 2019/2020, I took a course in Gestão e Produção de Cozinha  (Culinary Arts) driven by the desire to acquire new knowledge in this area to provide my guests with unique gastronomic experiences. I'm currently the founder of 4B's - B&B Birds & Bicycle, which aims to be the 1st bike-friendly accommodation in Baixo Alentejo with vegetarian meals, and Bolota_Castro Verde, a recent project.

In March 2022, I took part in the 3rd edition of Green Up, promoted by Turismo de Portugal and organised by Territórios Criativos, and won 2nd prize.

At Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo de Portimão I would highlight the professionalism, quality, and commitment of all the teachers, which results in a teaching quality that is well above average.

The course gave me the basic tools to cook more professionally, and with better quality, with a more solid foundation than if I hadn't attended the course.

My goal wasn't to become a professional cook exclusively. I wanted to be a hospitality professional with broader professional skills. The course allowed me to do that.

At the moment, the quality vegetarian meals component is one of the most differentiating factors of my space, a space that I intend to expand in five years.
