The new version of the Clean & Safe Label currently functions as a support tool for companies for “crisis management”.

While maintaining the focus on the health issue, it now foresees possible public health crises, as well as a new safety dimension transversal to tourism activities, covering possible risk situations arising from extreme phenomena and international constraints.

Objectives

• Reinforce confidence in Portugal as a safe tourist destination, whether by national and foreign tourists, or by the employees of companies in the sector and the population in general;
• Understand and mitigate the risks associated with potential crises experienced in the field of public health and/or other environmental and social dimensions with an impact on tourism activity.
