This project aims to improve the service quality and provide training for professional integration in the area covered by Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo de Vila Real de Santo António, namely the municipalities of Tavira, Vila Real de Santo António, Castro Marim, and Alcoutim.
Activity 1
- Carry out 16 training sessions for hotels and restaurants (4-hour sessions)
- Communication and the art of hospitality;
- Hygiene and safety in the restaurant industry;
- Principles of the Mediterranean cuisine;
- Demonstration of a Mediterranean delicacy.
Activity 2
Four awareness-raising sessions (2-hour sessions):
- Valorisation of endogenous products;
- Good practices in food waste management;
- Allergens and nutritional food information.
- The aim is to reach 200 professionals, considering 25% will be foreigners working in Portugal.
