Mezze School is a training programme for refugees and immigrants in the restaurant sector. It was founded by the Pão a Pão Association, in partnership with the school, and is supported by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation's Active Citizens Programme. This project includes 500 hours of training and practice in the kitchen and restaurant at the Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo de Lisboa, as well as in a work context at the Mezze Restaurant. It also includes training in sustainability, personal, social, and creative development, and financial literacy. And there's more! We'll also be covering Legal Literacy, Culture and Portuguese Language, Food Hygiene and Safety.
