More than just a name, "41 à Estrela" is a statement of identity. It symbolises the starting point and ambition that guides our students — it is a space where one learns by serving and serves by learning, with rigour, creativity, and hospitality.
The expression "à estrela" also evokes the way of serving — "at the table, Portuguese style, à la carte" — , invoking the tradition of hospitality and the technical, always affectionate language of gastronomy.
In this new phase, the project unfolds in two complementary spaces:
41 à Estrela | Jardim, at the School — where ideas are born and the future of gastronomy is experienced. 41 à Estrela | Terrace, at the Hotel da Estrela — where training becomes a real service experience, on very special occasions, with equally special guests.
The Pedagogical Application Restaurant is a unique experience, where flavours meet knowledge, and technique is consolidated with talent. Here, our students experience the real working environment, in a well-orchestrated synergy between the dining room and the kitchen, always under the guidance of their trainers.
Each service is a live lesson — and our customers have the privilege of participating in this moment. Everything is prepared and presented with creativity, rigour and passion, reflecting the commitment and excellence that define us.
