The Western Cocktail Festival is now in its 5th edition. After a two-year break, the school has relaunched the project to give future bartenders experience and relevance.
The festival is organised by level 5 Restaurant and Beverage Management students and level 4 Restaurant/Bar students. It is guided by chefs Marisa Costa and João Dinis. Each new class takes responsibility for organising the event.
The festival is attended by students from the Turismo de Portugal Schools Network, as well as other vocational schools across the country and renowned professionals in the field.
Participants attend and take part in various workshops. In the end, a jury of national renown professionals will elect the best cocktail made with regional products.
The Western Cocktail Festival aims to encourage innovation, praise professionals and attract young people to a career with new experiences and a future.
