Sofia Pedro is Angolan and a student in the Hotel Management and Accommodation course at Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo de Algarve (EHTA).

She says her experience as an EHTA student has been praiseworthy, exceeding her expectations as an international student.

She emphasises the unique way of learning, the dynamics of the teachers, and above all, the daily support that makes her feel "at home". She recommends the EHTA to anyone who wants to be part of the family that is Turismo de Portugal and also says "For those who come from another country in search of the fulfilment of a dream, here they find a pillar to build on."
