This week-long training camp, made of groups of students working as a team, is a stage where all the subjects/modules of the Accommodation courses intersect and where students test their all-around skills. Teamwork, creativity, innovation, improvisation, planning, flexibility, and time management are constantly in action.
This project reflects how interdisciplinarity and collaborative work can contribute to building an educational project based on critical thinking, able to question information, capable of enriching one's vision of the world and ultimately of the future labour market.
Shall we create a hotel?
This was the motto for a week full of surprises that covered several subject areas, English, reception and housekeeping, geography, tourist information, setting up a human resources team, defining the type of hotel and characterising the services, budgets, marketing, and much more. Human rights, sustainability, and preparation for the labour market were the cross-cutting themes of this activity.
Competing to build the best hotel unit project for a week, this project transforms students on a path of self-improvement, responsibility, and autonomy, creating a sense of unity and collective growth in those involved.
