I first became interested in the world of wine and bartending when I did my first internship as part of the On-The-Job Restaurant and Beverage Service Techniques course at the Escola de Hoteleria e Turismo de Portalegre.
The experience at Herdade do Esporão aroused a lot of curiosity in me and since then I've learnt a lot, essentially when I let myself be absorbed by oenology.
I studied food and beverage management, again in Portalegre, and took the leap into a profession in the area I love so much.
I've worked in places as diverse as L'AND Vineyards, when the restaurant had a Michelin star, at The Yeatman in Vila Nova de Gaia, at Torel Avangarde in Porto and I was sommelier at Herdade do Esporão and then at The Lodge.
Today I'm in charge of a wine shop in Porto, Vinoteca.
