Sara Nunes was born in 1983 and, with Alentejo roots, divides her life between Vila Real de Santo António and Tavira.

She began her professional career as a civil construction drafter. However, following the financial crisis, she reinvented her path and decided to pursue one of her greatest passions: cooking.

Between 2009 and 2011, she attended the Kitchen Management and Production course at EHTVRSA, an experience she describes as extremely enriching. She highlights the close, almost personalized teaching approach, as well as the high level of professionalism of the instructors, whose knowledge and influence remain present in her career to this day. After completing her training, she also had the opportunity to further develop professionally alongside one of her instructors.

Throughout her career, she has been part of teams in international cuisine hotels and in restaurants focused on regional gastronomy, with a strong connection to the Mediterranean diet, consolidating a rich and versatile culinary identity.

She worked as Head Chef at Hotel Rural Quinta do Marco, where she spent around six years, establishing herself in the appreciation of traditional Algarve cuisine, reinterpreted with a personal and contemporary touch.

In addition to her professional career, she is also a trainer and technical advisor at EHTVRSA, actively contributing to the training of new generations of professionals and to the development of the sector.
